I know that I am virtually just apologizing to myself, but it doesn't matter. So, I have been really busy with trying to get writing of my own done in between assignments from classes and stuff so I've been pretty overwhelmed and while I have been trying to start some things for a blog with a real purpose I have somehow neglected this one, the seed of my blogging experience.

I think that I'm only here right now because writing something that is not trying to reach any point is actually kind of relaxing. I have always had a fascination with buttons. When I was little, I liked to play with calculators and old typewriters. I think that my parents would have gone crazy if they'd had a computer or touch tone phone. I would by those stupid toys that came with candy inside them but where little keyboard things on the outside and I would irritate anyone within listening distance while I thought that it sounded really beautiful. I was also the one who went to the toy isles for the purpose of starting the toys and pushing any buttons that were available to little fingers. I remember playing with payphones, remotes, pretending that hardcover books were piano's just so I could hear the click click click and tapping of my fingers and nails against it (which was actually a game that my best friend made up)... I'm sure you get the point. Anyway, so I still haven't grown out of it apparently, because all though I am obviously doing something right now, I think that it is more for the sake of the tapping.

Listening to Tricky right now. When I am writing on stories or poetry there is music that I prefer to listen to. I listened to Kenna before while I was working and I think that I have developed a kind of music that i can listen to while blogging to take my mind off when I am staring into the screen without a thing to write, while straining to come up with just one more sentence. Someday I may lose the ability to blink as a result of such zoning. Anyway, goodnight all, have a good weekend. ^_^

Been a little under the weather the past few days, so feeling better this morning and then having to go out in the cold was like a kick in the gut. I haven't put many new postings in as a result of it and having to go out of town during the weekend. Champions of Norrath comes out very very soon so for PS2, it looks pretty good, so if you played Baldur's Gate on the playstation and liked it, this sounds like it will be better than that but with all the good features of it. Another thing I'm looking forward to Advent Children which is a movie sequel of FFVII. It looks really cool. Sounds like it will only be an hour or hour and 15 minute movie, but for the graphics alone well worth my time which could have been true of the travesty that they've called the two Final Fantasy movies of the past but THEY SUCKED! I'm truly glad that they lost a lot of money on that. ^_^

I'm home for a bit of the weekend. Home-home with my parents and a brother is here. I have been really straining to develop anything that could possibly resemble something that people would actually like to read, but I think that if I do come up with anything that I would have to put it on a different blog because the stupid shit that I have been placing up on this blog could taint the "quality" that I would hope that the new subjects/topic would have or whatever. Well, I'm ranting. This is the place for ranting, I guess. And this is the time too since if I am not ranting it means that I will have to actually do something with a point --- a frightening concept for one who is consumed by the need to do nothing. I am jealous too, by the way, that my blog looks so absolutely shitty compared with so many others that I have been on. So what I have is poor content and an ugly blog... Maybe it's just an ugly duckling and something beautiful and important will come of this... Something Shakespearian! Something the mimics the unequivical talents of Tennyson! But that would probably involve some copyright infringment..... I have a headache and this was absolutely pointless. Gonna go read my book for YA Lit. Night all.

weekend soon...............

A Little About Me

1. Anyway, sorry. I have been doing this for hours and its really starting to piss me off. I have a lot of homework and and being TOTALLY swamped.,... my frustration is a result of this. ANYWAY... The last blog that i tried to post were my comments of Froyd's sight "Froyd's Rants" To make what was a LONG blog short I'm gonna say a synopsis of what I said.... Pheww.. anyway, I liked the personal comments most.. was intimidated straight off by seeing quotes of Bush (didn't read them) but I scrolled down to where you were just ranting and that I did enjoy reading. NOW onto my final rant, my final pleading for a chance of finishing this so that i can finish the book that i have to finish by tomorrow, read all the chapters that I have to have read by teh end of this week, start working on my stories (one of the few things in the world that I can still enjoy, even if they cause me considerable agony by staring at the computer screen and typing like there's no tomorrow, because it very much reminds me of homework. OKAY
SO I looked at PRUFROCK... THANK YOU JOANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing scary, nothing long. Nothing scary (did I mention that) A couple minutes and I read through it. Makes it so much easier for me. I wish that I knew what to say, but at the moment I cannot even think to think. UGHHHH... this is driving me mad.... I gotta get out off this computer before I smash it. "Merlot at Midnight" is such a catchy title that I wanted to see more of what was going on with the blog. The first thing I noticed as we looked at the blog in class was that it LOOKED outstanding, which made me want to read it. To me the text didn't really reflect what I thought would come of such a title, which was fine because the blogs could hold their own. It was easy to read through the postings, which was a nice break compared to some of the blogs that I have been on tonight (that I will not mention) that were not so reader friendly.

Blog Searching Number 3: Poet's Page

I checked out "the lonely Heart" for the same reason that I would choose any one thing from a group, because the title caught my attention. Because it is a poetry page, it is a quick read and is easy to get through while still taking a lot from what they were trying to say. I can't say that other than with the classic poets, Byron and such, that I enjoy much for relationship/love poems, they have a tendancy to be topped with thick layers of cheese and, like in life, I hate cheese... so I didn't really read too many of the poems. But anyway, it got me in and got me reading, that's all that really matters.

Blog Exploration Number 2: Stranger 2

I went to the DaRe tO dReAm blog. The first thing I want to say is that most websites that I have been to cannot compare to how beautiful this blog was. Seriously. It had presence, the soft tones the unthreatening gray of the font didn't make me want to escape as quickly as possible rather than suffer through reading a bunch of intimidating blocky text (like MY blog ^_^)
Some of it was kind of hard to read, but thasokay. I really liked reading it, surprisingly. I have read through a few blogs, including my own, and have found them to be painfully if not inconceivably stupid, but this I found myself getting into... seriously. I was kind of expecting it to be the POV of someone really roleplaying the "pirate" character, but it wasn't. It was very conversational and very normal. A lot of the things concerning working on the blog itself were the same kind of things that I have experienced thus far in my blogging experience, like "No one will probably ever read this" or whatever. You'd have to read it to know. I dunno. Anyway, it was good. I'm glad I checked it out.
P.S. The most intruiging thing about it, he claimed that people said that he looks like Orlando Bloom. I'd love to see and give my opinion. I love drawing his face so, I think I'd be a pretty good critic. ^_^

Added some links over there, gonna make my project blog SOOOO much better than this

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm nothing to say

Crappy Weather

It is snowy and blowy and cold as hell... Go figure that I have found someway to look busy and not be. I have already checked my e-mail and wrote a little on some stories. But I thought that I could do something constructive with my time that did not include actual working so I thought that I would write a little about not working and how to get away with it. Step 1: look busy This is the most important thing to do. I've got in trouble for "not being busy" even when I was working good. So this rule is important with working as well as avoiding it. Step 2: make a lot of little noises that sound something like what you should be doing. I'm typing. I should be typing. But what I am actually doing isn't exactly what I'm being paid for ^_^
The last thing that I can think of is to keep your eyes open and listen hard for people who might be going by that could either tell on you or have the outright authority to make you feel shitty. Not working isn't all fun and games. One cannot become totally lost in sluffing off. Right now I am working on editing an image for coverart for an anthology and working on some short stories in my free time. The rest of my time is divided between homework and thinking about doing homework. I am a senior in the BFA program at BSU and am working on finishing up some of my requirements for graduation. Of these the thing that I am looking forward to most is an independant study course in Writing and Illustrating a Children's story.
